Whew talk about nice weather. It was a hot one today. I go outside after lunch and it must have been close to 80 degrees outside! It feels nice not having to wear a winter coat in Janurary lol!
The weather was comfortable enough to do my service. I helped in the pujari room for an hour this morning, then later in the morning I spent 3 and a half hours in the kitchen, and then I spent another hour this afternoon cleaning the pujari room. So I pretty much did a full 6 hour day like my guru Maharaj wanted me to do.
So now I am sitting outside Govinda's restaurant under an umbrella, watching Nirantara's Krisha book class and concert. He's supposed to give Bhagavad Gita class tonight but I doubt that somehow. But I will still attend the Bhagavad Gita class tonight anyways. I think I should attend it when I can. Friday is sankirtan so I will be going to that instead and maybe on Saturday too. But I never want to miss Nirantara's class. His classes are so inspiring and even help me to spiritually advance. So that is why I am sitting outside with my computer, enjoying the weather and enjoying his class. We are going over the chapter where the Gopis are feeling separation from Krishna. :) I like this chapter alot because the Gopis give such a detailed description of what Krishna looks like and what He does. It's so fascinating. At least we can know what God looks like. :)
Anyways now he is doing the concert on his webcam. His songs are always so cool. My guru Maharaj says that Nirantara's songs are happy songs and Nirantara Prabhu said that he is a happy man in Krishna Conciousness. Haribol to that!
I checked the weather for the rest of the week. It's going to be in the low 70's high 60's but still it beats 30 degree weather lol! Feels nice to sit outside in the beginning of Janurary without a coat on! :D Thank you Krishna for bringing me to warm weather. It actually helps me to focus more on my spiritul life because in India it gets really warm but I hear now in India even in Vrndavan temperatures dropped. It does get cold there but I am not sure how cold. I heard they had a frost.
But that's global warming for you. People STOP hurting the planet and STOP global warming! That is why we are having strange weather is because the earth is being polluted with intoxicants, and cutting down trees doesn't help any either. Save the Earth's resoruces and stop wasting! Then maybe we can have some normal weather on this planet.
